Free Concert In Butte Raises Money For Women In Recovery

Music, community spirit and a meaningful cause will come together Friday, August 7, as Paige and the Peoples Band headlines a special fundraising concert at the Covellite, 215 W. Broadway in Uptown Butte.

The show is free and will begin at 7pm and promises an evening filled with high-energy while raising money for Butte SPIRIT Homes, a local organization working to expand recovery resources for women overcoming substance abuse disorder.

Widely recognized as one of Montana's premiere live bands, Paige and the Peoples Band has built a reputation for electrifying performances that blend rock, soul, funk and fusion into an entertaining and dance-worthy experience.  Over the years the group has shared the stage with such major acts as the Doobie Brothers, Lyle Lovett, Brandi Carlisle and Mike McCready, performing for audiences across the United States and internationally as well.

The concert also will double as a birthday celebration for Butte SPIRIT Homes co-founder Sean Wisner who is inviting the community to celebrate while supporting an important local mission.

Throughout the evening, guests can participate in a silent auction and 50/50 raffle with every dollar raised going toward Butte SPIRIT Homes' effort to purchase a new facility dedicated to serving women in the early stages of recovery.  Organizers say the expanded space till help meet a growing need in the community by providing additional support and resources for women rebuilding their lives.

Whether attendees come for the music, to celebrate Sean Wisner's birthday or to contribute to a worth cause, organizers hope the event will showcase the power of community coming together for positive change.

Admission is free, making the event an opportunity for everyone to enjoy outstanding live music while helping invest in a brighter future for Butte.
