Let's face it.  Our pets are more than a big part of our families and this is especially true around the Holidays.  Many of us spend a good deal of money on holiday treats and some go so far as to dress their furry companions up as elfs or Santa Claus.  On most Butte fireplace mantles, you will more likely than not find a stocking marked for a family dog or cat.  This makes perfect sense to us.  And it makes sense to the folks at the Butte Spay and Neuter Task Force who are ready to take it one step further with their "Santa Paws" event coming this Saturday to the Butte Plaza Mall where you can get your pets holiday photos taken and go home with two 5x7 prints of your pet or companion animal with "Santa Paws".

Santa Paws is a fundraiser for the Butte Spay and Neuter Task Force who are instrumental in our area not only for their help in getting the pets and companion animals of low-income community members sterilized at little or reduced cost, but they also assist in animal rescue and adoptions.  The Santa Paws event will raise money to put on future spay and neuter clinics and will run from 11am until 4pm Saturday at the Butte Plaza Mall.  Full details are available on the Santa Paws Facebook Events page, and if you have any questions about Santa Paws or if you would like to volunteer your time with this very worthy organization, give them a call at 406-782-5110.  Please make sure your pets are on leashes or in cages.
