Polar Plunge this Saturday at Stodden Park
The Polar Plunge is not for the weak of heart but then again an extraordinary organization is worthy of extraordinary fundraisers and the Polar Plunge is most certainly that and it takes place this Saturday at Stodden Park as donors jump, swim, splash and/or crawl through the icy waters all for the benefit of Special Olympics Montana.
The Polar Plunge is a function of the Law Enforcement Torch Run whose officers and volunteers organize these events all across Montana. Proceeds from the event will help Special Olympics Montana provide life-changing opportunities for athletes with intellectual diasabilities by offering sports training, competitions, health screenings, and leadership opportunities that promote inclusion for athletes both on and off the field.
SPLASHIN' WITH A PASSION
The Polar Plunge, in addition to providing much needed funding to Special Olympics Montana, is unique because of the way the event unites friends, families, law enforcement officers and local businesses to celebrate the abilities of Special Olympics Athletes and ensuring that inclusion takes center stage not only at the Plunge, but in our communities. Every splash sends a powerful message of courage, hope and acceptance.
You can enter the 2026 Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Plunge as a team or as an individual and, of course, if you would like to donate without braving the waters, your donation will be graciously accepted. Registration opens at 1:30 and the Plunge will start at 3pm.
