Tim Montana will make his much-anticipated musical return to the Mining City this Friday night and in true Tim Montana fashion, he is doing his part to give back to his town and his neighbors.  Tim has teamed up with the Butte Arts Foundation and Mother Lode Theater along with Town Pump Food Stores of Montana to raise food, funds and awareness for Butte's Emergency Food Bank and Butte Rescue Mission.

Tim Montana will perform at the Mother Lode as part of the theatre's Montana Made Music Series at 7pm Friday night but will be behind the "Rock the Pantry Food Drive" in the hours leading up to the show on Friday at the Mother Lode Theater, 316 W. Park, and online right now with Town Pump.  The drive is looking in particular for canned meats and proteins, soups and stews, canned vegetables and fruits as well as rice, grains and cereals.  Donations will be accepted at the Mother Lode from 10am until 4pm and again during Tim's performance.  Monetary donations will also be accepted through Venmo and online as well, with the Town Pump Charitable Foundation matching each dollar donated.  All food and proceeds will benefit the Butte Emergency Food Bank and the Butte Rescue Mission.  Here are the QR codes, should you wish to donate now:

PHOTOS: 12 of the Prettiest Views in Montana

Montana is one of the most beautiful places on earth. The best small towns in Montana are easy to find if you know where to look. And an interesting part of enjoying it's beauty is that you don't even have to leave the road to see stunning scenery. Simply driving on our major roads will supply you with picture perfect views.
We put together this series of pictures that we found only with Google Street View. If the Google car didn't go there, neither did we. Every shot here is a screen grab of somewhere on a road in Montana.
