The Montana Tech Volleyball team will enter play this weekend riding the highest national ranking in program history.

The Orediggers will be hosting the Big Sky Volleyball Challenge with games today at two locations, Kelvin Sampson Court in the HPER Complex and the Maroon Activities Center, and tomorrow at the HPER. The challenge features two other Frontier Conference teams and six top programs from across the country.

The Preseason Coaches Poll for Frontier Conference Football has been released. This will be the first year with new football member Arizona Christian joining the Montana based conference.

For the first time since 1993, the Orediggers of Montana Tech have won the 2022-2023 George Bandy Memorial All-Sports Award.

The Women’s games this past weekend added some more ‘space’ between the top 3 teams in the conference and the rest of the Frontier.

The Montana Tech Orediggers got past MSU-Northern in Frontier Conference Mens Basketball Thursday night, but it took 2 overtimes to do it.

The Montana Tech Men are in the midst of a winning streak. The Diggs have won their last 6 games overall, 8 of their last 10, and most importantly, their last 2 conference games.

The Lady Saints have won the last 17 meetings between the two. Montana Tech’s last win over Carroll was a 78-64 Frontier tournament contest on February 28, 2017. As of the last coaches poll, Carroll is ranked #11 in the country.
