If anything, the Uptown Butte Farmers Market is hitting its stride as we head into the late summer months.  Sure, the market has several weeks left before it's final Saturday of the season which will be on October 7 but right now just feels like the best time of the year check it out, especially if you haven't made it up yet.  The Farmers Market is on Park Street from the Main intersection and extends west to the Phoenix Building, running from 8am to 1pm on Saturdays.  We made it up last week and here's what we found.

Well, it is a Farmers Market, what did you think you were going to find?  But even if you have high expectations, you are going to be pleased with not only the number of produce vendors but their selection and very competitie prices.  If you need veggies, particularly those of the fresh, local variety, this is your place.

If you like flowers and plants in your home, the Farmers Market has a lot to offer.  You will find plants that do well in our climate and particularly when it comes to greenery it is always better to shop local.  It doesn't get more local than this.

The Farmers Market has several vendors offering crystals, card readings and their thoughts on the human spirit.  There's a definite vibe there and it's a good one.  The busker on hand last Saturday perfectly set the mood.  It's definitely something you should check out for yourself.
