26 Home Games Scheduled For Tech Men’s & Women’s Basketball
Last season Coach Adam Hiatt and the Montana Tech Men went further than any team in program history and this year they enter play with a preseason ranking of #6 in the nation. The Montana Tech Women, while not quite at the level of their male counterparts, are definitely a team on the rise under second-year head coach Jeff Graham and a roster full of talented and exciting young players who are learning his system.
Any way you slice it, the 2023-24 season is going to be an exciting one as both the men and women now have an exhibition game each under their belts and look forward to nonconference play which begins this month. The following is a release from the Montana Tech Athletic Department as season tickets for both programs are now on sale:
The Oredigger basketball season is officially off and running, and it is going to be an exciting season. Between the women and men, there are 26 home games this season. The women have five non-conference home games in December. The men have seven non-conference games in November and December, including the Montana Tech Tip-Off Classic, and the Montana Tech Fall Classic.
The Frontier Conference Regular Season will get underway on January 6th, as the Orediggers welcome Rocky Mountain College into the HPER. That is one of seven home conference matchups. Montana Tech will host Providence, Montana Western, and MSU-Northern each once, while Carroll College and Rocky Mountain College will both play in Butte twice.
