Anaconda's OPEN THEATRE PROJECT has a show coming up that is perfect for Halloween.  Have you heard about the OPEN THEATRE PROJECT?  It is an inclusive group that not only puts on top notch plays and performances but also is a great way for the youth of our area to connect via a common love-the love of theater.  Their mission statement sums it up nicely:

TO PROMOTE TOLERANCE INCLUSION AND UNDERSTANDING AMONG YOUNG PEOPLE THROUGH THEATRE ARTS.

Here is a press release we just got from our friends with Icon Productions:

The OPEN THEATRE PROJECT of Anaconda in conjunction with The Copper Village Museum and Arts Center and Anaconda Junior Senior High School of Anaconda will be presenting A MURDER OF CROWS by Mark Kenny on Oct 27, 28 and 29.  The show, which is appropriate for the Halloween season, is an eerie, atmospheric re-telling of a well-known Brothers Grimm tale.  The story, presented with an edgy, modern sensibility is a relayed via a chorus of crows who are the observers of the strange tale which involves a boy a girl, their father and stepmother.

A cast of local youth presents this show which will make the perfect outing for those looking for some Halloween entertainment.  The show will be presented at the Anaconda High School Little Theatre (515 Main Street Anaconda).  No reservations required, tickets available at the door only.  $10 adults $5 youth.  Show times are Oct 27 at 7pm, Oct 28 at 2 pm, Oct 29 at 2:00pm. Call (406)533-5269 for information.
