Get ready to go down the rabbit hole MOMIX-style as Moses Pendleton's newest creation, ALICE, based on the Lewis Carroll classic, Alice in Wonderland, comes to Butte's Mother Lode Theater on Saturday, April 4th.

If you haven't seen a MOMIX performance before, you are in for a treat.  MOMIX is an internationally renowned dance and visual illusion company that has cultivated a devoted international following through its distinctive blend of movement, illusion, athleticism, and visual poetry.  In ALICE, Pendleton's dancers extend themselves by means of ropes, props and even other dancers as Alice's body grows and shrinks again.  As with every MOMIX production, you never quite know what you are going to get. Audiences will be taken on a journey that is both magical, mysterious, fun, eccentric, and much more. As Alice falls down the rabbit hole and experiences every kind of transformation, so will you.

Showtime on April 4th is set for 7pm with the doors opening at 6pm.  Tickets are available now through the Mother Lode Theater Box Office at 316 W. Park Street in Uptown Butte or through their website at buttearts.org.  Are you from outside of Butte and interested in making a weekend out of the show?  Special room rates for Mother Lode patrons are available at a number of Butte's fine lodging establishments.  Click here for all of the information.
