Food truck festivals have been becoming increasingly popular across the country over the last couple of years, particularly in the northwest.  And rightfully so.  People are learning that these are a great way to sample different kinds of food that you normally may not have tried while at the same time being a great way to socialize and support local businesses. It's no surprise that Butte's Matt Boyle has found himself promoting one of these  himself.  Matt is all about food and festivals and promoting events is second nature to him.  The Original Festival?  Last week's Wilder Blue concert?  This is all Matt.  And Butte's first Food Truck Festival is just over a week away.

In addition to his duties with Montana Booking Company, you can find Matt during the daytime at Collective Elevation in Butte who are cosponsoring the event along with 5518 Designs and the Butte Real Estate Group.  The festival is scheduled to run from 11 to 8 on Saturday, April 22 at Collective Elevation at 34 E. Galena and it's looking like it's going to be huge.  Already signed up are Wicked Que BBQ, Sweet Petites, Papa Tom's Kettle Corn, Big Bird's Kitchen and SKC Teriyaki for starters.  They have plenty of room for additional vendors and it is not too late to sign up.  If you want to be a part of this fun event, get ahold of Matt at boyle@montanabooking.com or call or text Matt at (406)498-3549.  Otherwise, leave the afternoon open and bring your family and your appetite to Galena Street for some great food and a wonderful day.
