Are you ready for the 4th of July parade?  I know, we're just getting into June, but Butte is an Independence Day kind of town.  Name another that officially starts celebrating the 4th with the big fireworks show on the 3rd.  I'll wait.  The parade is set for 10am on July 4th and if you want to take part, here's how.

PARADE REGISTRATION IS OPEN

Again this year, our friends at the Butte America Foundation are undertaking the huge task of organizing and putting on one of the best 4th of July parades in Montana.  If you or your business or organization would like to take part, here is what you need to know.

  • The contact person is Alysia Guzman who can be reached at (406) 422-9510
    or by emailing parade@butteamericafoundation.org
  • Entry fee is $40 for general entries. $30 for nonprofits and is nonrefundable.
  • The Butte America Foundation prefers that entries are done online.  Click here to register.
  • The entry deadline is 11:59 PM, Monday June 23rd, 2025. Late entries received after the deadline will be placed at end of parade and charged a late fee.  There will be no exceptions.  Late entry fee is an additional $40.00.
  • All entrants are required to have one representative attend the pre-parade meeting Tuesday, June 24th at 6:30 pm at the Knights of Columbus, 224 W. Park St. Butte, MT.  Numbers will be given to entrants at this time. The meeting will be short but mandatory.  If you are from out of town and cannot make the meeting, contact Parade Director Alysia Guzman at (406) 422-9510 or email: parade@butteamericafoundation.org in advance.

The parade begins at 10:00 AM, July 4th, 2025.  Assembly will begin at the Civic Center Parking Lot just off of Harrison Ave. If your entry will need to setup the night before, select floats may call Alysia Guzman at (406) 422-9510 or email at parade@butteamericafoundation.org to arrange accommodations.
