Butte’s MacKenzie River hosting ‘Tip a Cop’ event Tuesday August 8
It's hardly a secret that Colin Higgins and the crew at MacKenzie River Pizza, Grill and Pub like to get out in the community. Since they joined the Butte community over 2 decades ago you have seen them at many charity events and fundraisers. They are prevalent with the Butte Chamber and the number of community fundraiser nights they have held go well into the hundreds. It's no surprise that they are giving back once again with "Tip a Cop" night coming up this Tuesday to raise money for the Special Olympics of Montana with a little help from our local police force.
Local officers involved with the Law Enforcement Torch Run and our local Special Olympics athletes will be working alongside the Butte Mack River crew as "celebrity servers" in an effort to raise tips which will be donated directly to area and regional Special Olympics programs. In addition, Butte's MacKenzie River will be donating $2 from every "Guardian" pizza ordered directly to Special Olympics Montana and there is even a "Round It Up America" line on credit card receipts for another easy way to donate to the Special Olympics.
Tip a Cop Day will get underway with lunch at 11am and will run through the dinner rush until 9pm. MacKenzie River Pizza, Grill and Pub is located at 3450 Monroe Avenue just off Harrison behind Rocky Mountain Car Wash. Any questions? Give them a ring at (406)782-0020.
