Early heart attack care and recognition plus safety with medicine sessions this month at Belmont
This month the Belmont Senior Citizens Center in Butte has a couple of sessions with Intermountain Health Care (formerly St. James) and A1 Ambulance that you need to know about. Coming this Monday, November 14th at 11am is an opportunity to learn about early heart attack recognition and care followed by a session on medication safety and adherence on Tuesday the 15th. These important clinics are in addition to a busy month of activity at the Belmont.
Wednesday the 15th there will be hearing aid cleaning with Robin starting at 10:30am and another informative "Tech Tips" session is scheduled for Tuesday, the 21st, so be sure to remember your notepads, laptops and smartphones. One on one instruction is available. This month there will be blood pressure screening going on Fridays at 11am and "Craft Circle" with Lorisa on Tuesday the 28th at 10:30am.
Regular events include bingo on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 1pm with pinochle played at the same time on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Sneakers Exercise takes place on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10 to 11am and is $1.50 per session. Remember that wood carvers meet Thursdays at 8:30am and ride to medical appointments are available from 9 to 11am Mondays thru Fridays for $3 one way, $5 round trip. Please give 24 hour notice for rides and remember that shopping excursions are available for $10 per trip. Thursday's AARP driving course has been cancelled but Tuesday's popular cinnamon roll and coffee special for a buck is still available from 8 to 10:30. Here is a link to their November lunch menu.
