Okrusch to headline Lunch in the Park Wednesday in Butte

Butte's popular Lunch In The Park series heads into the second half of the season this Wednesday from 11-2 at Emma Park with live music from local troubadour Chad Okrusch.

If you have not had the chance to see Chad Okrusch perform, Uptown Butte may be a perfect setting. Okrusch brings a Kerouacian aura to his homespun tales which can bridge topics from local, legendary watering holes to Wise River. As quick-witted as he is talented, a passing quip of his even led to co-writing credit on a Tim Montana's song "Mostly Stoned".

While enjoying Okrusch's perfomance on Wednesday, you'll be able to enjoy some of Butte's best on the food side. Making another appearance will be Wicked Que who bring "no burgers, no dogs, no salads....just the best smoked meat around" along with Charee's Thai Food whose recipes are "based on the famous Bangkok Street Market and family secrets are passed down by generations." Miners Pub and Grub whose hearty and delicious selections can range anywhere from juicy burgers to spicy Mexican fare. On the sweet side, Extra Sprinkles will be serving Montana-made Wilcoxson's ice cream, Mining City Mud will be slinging espressos, teas and goodies, Blissful Berry Bowls will be assembling their unique acai berry treats and 406 Fresh with their vast menu can always be counted on for a delicious surprise.
