Week #2 of Uptown Butte's immensely popular Music on Main series is ready to roll with food vendors, live music, a magician and if the weather holds, a scavenger hunt for the kids and even a foam machine if the weather holds.

Music on Main will get things rolling tonight at 5:30pm on Main Street between Park and Broadway and you will want to get there early if you plan on bringing the kids. The first 60 kids will receive a $5 certificate to use at one of the many food trucks who will be on hand tonight including Charee's Thai Food, Turk's Food Trailer and Excelsior Meats for dinner, and Sweet Petites, Extra Sprinkles, Poppa Tom's Kettle Corn and Blissful Berry Bowls taking care of the sweets and treats department.  Also, for the kids, Zero to Five Butte-Silver Bow along with Family Outreach will be supervising a scavenger hunt and the folks from Martin's Masks will be doing some cool face painting that is always popular with the youngsters.  Northwestern Energy will be serving complimentary Shirley Temples to the kids and the M&M can take care of you in the adult beverage department.  Beers will be available thanks to the crew at Butte Brewing Company. Live music tonight will be Anaconda's Genuine Article scheduled to play from 6 to 9pm so bring your dancing shoes and your appetite and don't forget the lawn chairs and even a couple of towels in case the kids get close to the foam machine.  But as always be reminded to leave the coolers, pets and outside food at home and remember to thank Music on Main's many sponsors for keeping this weekly event a free one.
