Music on Main Thursday with High Ore Road
After last week's incredible turnout and another world-class performance from the Ken Rich Band, Uptown Butte's popular "Music on Main" series will continue Thursday evening with Butte band High Ore Road. The area's weather forecast looks perfect, and another big evening is expected for kids and adults alike.
Music on Main will get underway at 6pm as the food trucks open. As always there will be an area for the kids along with a variety of fun activities and the first 50 kids 12 years of age and under who show up will get a $5 off coupon to use at any of the food trucks on hand. Past events have seen kids activities ranging from face painting to scavenger hunts and this week will be no different. NorthWestern Energy will again have complimentary Shirley Temples for the kids and adult beverages can be purchased from the M&M. Please leave your coolers, backpacks and tents at home.
High Ore Road is a Butte band whose current formation has been together since late 2020, playing a variety of classic rock, country and a few blues numbers. They consist of lead guitarist/vocalist Pete Heidt, guitarist/vocalist C.D. Holter, bassist/vocalist Tom O'Neill and drummer/eye-candy Tom Billteen. This will be the group's first performance at Music on Main and the band is excited. "Music on Main is one of the best things about summer in Butte and we're excited to finally be a part of this," Billteen said. "Any time we get to play Uptown it's a blast. We hope to see all of our friends there!"
