It is finally time for area motorheads to get their wheels out of the garage and out on the streets where they belong.  Or better yet, how about an early car show where they can be properly appreciated?  The Pioneer Street Rods are planning a car show and swap meet for May 20 at the Maroon Activities Center at 550 E. Mercury.  This event is a great chance to not only catch up with old friends, get a part or two but to check out some of the sweetest rides in Southwest Montana and have a great time as well.

The swap meet is free to enter and will run from 8am until 3pm.  This is a great opportunity to score or sell hot rod memorabilia as well as parts.  Registration for the car show will begin at 10am, registration will last until noon and the show is also scheduled to run until 3pm.  $15 bucks will get you in and this will include a t-shirt   Also planned are various raffles and a 50/50 drawing.  The drawings and awards will be given out at 3pm.

You do not have to be the owner of a fancy street rod to enjoy this event as it is open to the public and all are invited to attend.  However, if you are a classic car enthusiast, this is a perfect opportunity to meet the folks involved with Pioneer Street Rods.  If you'd like more information on their organization or upcoming events, please get ahold of Jim Ayres at 406-593-7817 or Bruce Schlaebitz at 541-290-4788.
