Butte Youth Summer Food Service Program starting on June 17th

No child in the Mining City should go hungry, not even during the summer months when school is in session.  Unfortunately, for many Butte youngsters, the meals that they receive at school are the primary, if not only, meals that they will get to enjoy, if that is even the proper term.  Again, this summer starting on Monday, June 17th, Action Inc. in conjunction with the USDA's Summer Food Service Program will address this problem by providing free meals to those 18 years of age and younger at several locations throughout town.  Meals will be served Mondays through Fridays until August 9th with no meal service on Thursday, July 4th and Friday, July 5th.

Here are the locations and times where grab and go meals can be picked up or, in a few cases, a dine-in option is available.

Blaine School, 973 N. Main - Breakfast and lunch Monday thru Friday from 11am - 1pm.

Butte H.S. Career Center, 1050 N. Montana - On-site Breakfast Monday thru Thursday from 8am to 9am and on-site lunch Monday thru Thursday from 11am to 1pm.

BSB Public Library, 226 W. Broadway - Breakfast and lunch Monday thru Friday from 11am - 1pm.

Clarks Park, 1700 Wall - Breakfast and lunch Monday thru Friday from 11am - 1pm.

East Middle School, 2600 Grand Ave. - On-site Breakfast Monday thru Friday from 8am to 9am and on-site lunch Monday thru Friday from 11am to 1pm.

Emerson School, 1924 Phillips - Breakfast and lunch Monday thru Friday from 11am - 1pm.

Holy Spirit Church, 4201 Continental Drive - Breakfast and lunch Monday thru Friday from 11am - 1pm.
