Action Inc. is again helping feed Southwest Montana kids while school is out with the Free Summer Meals program that is going on at several locations around Butte and Southwest Montana.  All kids and teens, 18 and under can enjoy free, healthy meals all summer long.  No cost.  No sign-up.  Just show up.

Here is what you need to know.

BUTTE

On site meals will be served Mondays through Fridays at East Middle School, 2600 Grand and Mondays through Thursdays at the Butte High School Career Center, 1050 S. Montana.  Breakfast is served from 8am to 9am and lunch from 11am to 1pm

Grab & go breakfast and lunch will be available Mondays through Fridays from 11am to 1pm at the following locations:

  • Blaine School - 973 N. Main St.
  • Butte-Silver Bow Public Library - 226 W. Broadway
  • Clark Park - 1700 Wall St.
  • Emerson School - 1924 Phillips
  • Holy Spirit Church - 4201 Continental
  • JFK Park (Park in the Drives) - Center Dr. & East Dr.
  • Kennedy School - 1000 N. Emmett
  • Koprivica Park - 900 E. Second St.
  • Legion Oasis - 3400 Hill Ave.
  • Sesame Street - Sesame St. and Warren Ave.
  • Silver Bow Homes Community Room - 220 Curtis St.
  • Silver Bow Village - 910 Evans
  • West Elementary School - 800 S. Emmett
  • Whittier Park Baseball Field - Ottawa & Sheridan

No meals will be served on July 3.

WHITEHALL

Free summer meals will be served Mondays through Thursdays through July 30 at the Whitehall Community Library, 110 1st St. West,  from 11am to 1pm.  No meals will be served on July 3.

DEER LODGE

The program in Deer Lodge will run through August 14 and will take place from 12pm to 1pm at the Central Park Center at 444 Montana Ave.  Meals will be grab & go and there will be no service on July 3.
