Butte Cares accepting nominations for ‘Moving Mountains’ Awards
There is no question that Butte is full of everyday heroes. It is not just our first responders, our hospital workers and military members who garner the title but many who do so much on a different level. How many youth coaches here in Butte spend countless hours teaching our kids? Theater and musical directors. Older mentors and sports heroes. Butte's list if certainly far and wide, and Butte Cares believes that these people need to be recognized.
Moving Mountains Award recipients are those who consistently go the extra mile for others here in our community. They are those who are bringing people together, leading by example, and championing efforts that strengthen the fabric of our community. Their actions serve as a powerful reminder that lasting change is possible when we work side by side.
Who do you know that deserves a nomination? There are several eligible categories:
- Local Government/Law Enforcement
- Education (teacher, administrator, school staff)
- Youth
- Business/Organization
- Community Member
- Butte Cares Coalition Member
Every action counts—and every nominee reminds us that lasting change is built person by person, moment by moment. Let’s celebrate those who move mountains.
