The Butte High Bulldogs hosted the Glacier High School Wolfpack from Kalispell in a boys-girls basketball doubleheader at the Butte Civic Center on Friday evening and came out victorious in both contests.

BOYS - BUTTE 71, GLACIER 65

The Bulldog boys jumped out to an 8-0 lead early and led wire-to-wire in a 71-65 win over the Glacier High School boys.  Hudson Luedtke led all scorers with 17 points but was only one of four Bulldogs in double-digits.  6'9 center Braylon Larson scored 14 points while forwards Dylan "Bobby" Bache and Spencer Callahan each got 11.  The starting backcourt duo of Torre Tempel and Tocher Lee each tallied 9 points for the Bulldogs.  With the win, Butte High sweeps the regular season series with the Wolfpack after a 57-54 win in Kalispell on January 17th and improve to 10-5 overall with a 6-4 mark in the Western AA.

GIRLS - BUTTE 52, GLACIER 45

After playing to an 8-8 tie, the Bulldogs closed the first half on a 12-3 run and exploded for 20 points in the third quarter en route to a 52-45 win over the Glacier Girls in the evening's nightcap.  Sophomore guard Cadence Graham led all scorers with 21 and senior forward Brittyn Stewart added 15.  The Butte High girls also earned a season sweep over the Wolfpack after a 61-52 win in Kalispell on January 17th.  The Bulldogs run their 2024-25 overall record to 10-5 and 6-4 in the Western AA.

The Bulldogs will host another doubleheader at the Civic Center tomorrow afternoon against another Kalispell school, this time the Flathead Braves.  The boys varsity will tip off at 3pm tomorrow with the girls set for 4:30.
