Prepare to laugh.  Prepare to laugh a lot.  Whose Live Anyway?, a live, touring version of the hit TV show "Whose Line is it Anyway" will be coming to Butte's Mother Lode Theater on June 14.  Included in this case are two members of the television cast who were featured very prominently during the show's heyday.

If you're not familiar with the format, it is improv comedy at its finest.  Scenes, songs and skits are improvised on-stage with suggestions from the audience and many times what they come up with is funnier than anything that comes of a writer's room.  Ryan Stiles and Greg Proopes are a part of this ensemble.  In addition to their work on "Whose Line", Stiles is noted for his role as Lewis Kiniski on "The Drew Carey Show" and as Dr. Herb Melnick on "Two and a Half Men" while Proopes has been the voices of animated characters in “Star Wars: Episode 1”, “The Nightmare Before Christmas”, and “Brother Bear”.  Rounding out the ensemble are Joel Murray, the younger brother of Bill Murray, who has over 250 sitcom credits to his name but is probably best known for his recurring role of Freddy Munsen on "Mad Men", and Jeff B. Davis who was a voice in the cult cartoon "Harmonquest" and is known for his spot-on impersonations.

Showtime is 7:30pm on June 14 and a seating map as well as ticket information is available here.  If you'd like to make a night of it, special room discounts at many of Butte's fine hotels are also available through the Mother Lode.
