Red, White and Bruise boxing to light up Anaconda before 4th of July Fireworks
The blasts and pops will not be coming just from the sky in Anaconda as the Smelter City prepares for its 25th annual 4th of July Fireworks show, particularly if you're in the area of the Washoe Park baseball field. In fact, a lot of the explosive action will be coming before the fireworks as Monty Klistoff and NXTGen Entertainment bring the "Red, White and Bruise" boxing event to the baseball diamond prior to the big fireworks show.
Klistoff has quickly become one of the area's top event and fight promoters and is coming off a very successful run of events including the "Fight Kingdom II" mixed martial arts event a few weeks back at the Butte Civic Center that played to a packed and boisterous crowd in the Mining City a few weeks back. Anaconda fight fans are expected to bring more of the same enthusiasm and support as some of the area's best boxers will be competing including Santiago Sandoval vs. Richard Frietas in a highly anticipated matchup and the evening's main event, Erik Lopez vs. Cody Wright. Several other bouts are on the card which will wrap up shortly before the fireworks show begins at approximately 10:45pm.
The Washoe Park Baseball Field is located at 816 W. Pennsylvania St., the doors will open at 6pm and the first fight bell will ring at 7pm. General admission tickets are $20 at the gate and ringside tables are available for $400. Kids 12 years of age and under will be admitted free of charge. Advance tickets and further details are available at eventbrite.com.
