Fly Fishing Film Tour at Butte’s Mother Lode Theater Thursday Night

In this part of the world, fly fishing is as much a part of life as breathing for some.  It's more than a passion.  It's something almost spiritual.  And it's something many will be doing on Montana's streams and rivers in the very near future despite Old Man Winter's best efforts.

Whether spring breaks soon or not, the Mother Lode Theater is hosting an event this Thursday that will be of interest to area outdoor enthusiasts.  The Fly-Fishing Film Tour will be hitting the Mining City with things getting underway at 7pm.  What is the Fly-Fishing Film Tour?  Well, it's a travelling roadshow of some of the best fly-fishing films in the world.  From the ticketing website, "The 2023 show will feature locations from Cuba to Patagonia, Mexico to Australia, Alaska, Wyoming, the Deep South, Massachusetts and beyond. Experience the achievement of a permit slam, follow the journey of one boy from Mexico to the waters of Wyoming, explore the best international waters and compete for the legendary belt buckle.  Join us for a journey of adventure, friendship and the best fly fishing action."
