Southwest Montana comedy fans will have a chance to enjoy an evening of laughs this summer when nationally known comedian Henry Cho takes center stage at Butte's Mother Lode Theater on Thursday, July 30, 2026.  The show, a stop on his "Empty Nest Tour,"  begins at 7pm and promises an entertaining night from one of comedy's most recognizable clean comedians.

Cho recently made headlines after becoming the 229th member of the Grand Ole Opry, a distinction that carries special significance.  He is the first comedian to receive the honor since 1973, highlighting the respect he has earned throughout the entertainment industry during a career spanning decades.

Audiences may recognize Cho from numerous television appearances, including NBC's "The Tonight Show," CBS's "The Late Late Show," and NBC's "Friday Night Videos" and appeared in a variety of network sitcoms.  Beyond performing, Cho helped create, produce and write "The Henry Cho Show" for GAC.

His comedy has reached audiences across multiple platforms.  His Comedy Central special, "What's That Clickin' Noise?" also found a home on Netflix, while listners can still hear him regularly on SiriusXM, Blue Collar Radio and Pandora.

Cho's career extends well beyond stand-up.  His film credits include roles in "McHale's Navy," "Say It Isn't So," and "Material Girls."  He has also worked alongside notable Country stars including Vince Gill, Amy Grant, Willie Nelson, Reba McEntire and Carrie Underwood.

Known for his family-friendly style, Cho has built a reputation for delivering humor that appeals to a wide range of audiences.  That versatility has allowed him to perform everywhere from Las Vegas showrooms to faith-based events and major corporate gatherings.

With a busy slate of upcoming film and television projects, Cho continues to remain active in the entertainment world.  His upcoming appearance at the Mother Lode Theater offers local audiences a chance to see one of America's most accomplished comedians live right here in Butte.
